Bollywood actor and superstar Ranbir Kapoor is the heartthrob of many girls. Born on 28th September 1982, the son of Rishi Kapoor made his debut in 2007 with Saawariya. Although the film bombed, he was noticed for his chocolate looks and baby face. His body was bought into the limelight with movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno, and he firmly established his position with performances in Rajneeti, Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani. Ranbir Kapoor Diet
Ranbir Kapoor clinched the title of “Sexiest Asian Man” and he deserved it, considering the effort he put in (he won by an overwhelming margin, according to sources). Well trained in Jazz and Ballet (the lean body gives you a hint, right?), he also took diction, dance, and horse riding classes.
As far as his diet is concerned, he says:
“I am a complete non-vegetarian. There is a singular lack of vegetables in my diet, so my mom (she’s the policeman in the house) makes vegetable juice for me in the morning. It contains all the possible vegetables, so I get my intake,” jokes Ranbir.”
Ranbir’s diet at home is controlled and governed by his mother (Mama’s boy ?? ). His diet at home is as follows:
Early Morning: He gets either orange or mosammi juice, and half an hour later, a glass of hot water with honey and a few almonds.
Breakfast: He gets vegetable juice, which is changed from day to day. Since he is a pure non-vegetarian, he lacks vegetables in his diet, and this is the way his mother Neetu found to give him vegetables (ingenious! )
Lunch: Lunch is Indian usually. One vegetable and dal, without rice, as he prefers rotis or paranthas with ghee. His favorite dish is bhindi (lady-finger…hmmm…lady here too :p ). He prefers home cooked food and carries it with him on shoots.
Snacks: He has fruits in the evening or egg/chicken sandwiches (made from brown bread).
Dinner: Dinner is usually a barbeque/roast chicken with boiled vegetables. He avoids rotis at night.
However, all this planning and detail go for a toss when he visits his grandmother in Chembur, where he lets his guard down. He is served irresistible stuff there.
However, since now Ranbir Kapoor is a hot commodity, he hired the services of trainer Pradeep Bhatia to keep him fit. Pradeep gave him the following diet plan to follow

Breakfast for him is milk with cornflakes, a banana/egg omelet with brown bread toast and a glass of fresh juice. He can have black/espresso coffee.
Lunch for him consists of a tandoori chicken with dal and two rotis.
ON THE SETS:
Its fruits and juices, accompanied by green and Darjeeling tea for him on the sets.
Dinner consists of a grilled salmon, fish and chicken.
Like any fitness freak, her takes some supplements in the form of Multivitamins and whey protein shakes twice a day, once after workouts and once after dinner.
However, Ranbir has a weakness for the cold drinks he endorses and occasionally cheats on his diet with an odd slice of cake.
Ranbir Kapoor also has a weakness for his grandmother’s food. And if you thought it ended here, he claims he can’t resist buying salami and cream cheese. His other favorite cuisines are Italian and Chinese. He finds comfort in chicken curry, dal, and roti when he feels depressed

Ranbir Kapoor Workout
Ranbir Kapoor has a genetic drawback that he cant gain muscles fast, as he has a very fast metabolism. Hence he adds brown bread, soup, and fruits to his diet if he wants to bulk up. He has a glass of mass gainer an hour prior to his workout, and it is repeated after his workout is finished.
He has been working out with personal trainer Pradeep Bhatia for three years now. Ranbir was introduced to him by his mother, Neetu Singh, who had trained with him for a while. He was the one who put Ranbir Kapoor on a strict diet.
Pradeep travels along with him to his shoots to make sure that he does not miss out on his diet and workout schedule is followed. He does so because he knows that Ranbir has little time to visit the gym due to erratic shooting hours.
Ranbir Kapoor works out at Sanjay Dutt’s gym six times a week for an hour or so. He does hardcore gymming to stay fir as he doesn’t quite love yoga or swimming. The areas he likes to work upon are the chest and back but like most of us, he looks for a way out when its time to work the legs, as he finds working them quite painful. Like most of us, he likes working out with music blaring.
Daily Workout Of Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir starts his workout with 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up. He does kick-boxing and focuses on 2 body parts at a time, chest-back, shoulder-legs, and biceps-triceps, on different days.
He loves football and plays regularly, besides running a lot. He makes it a point to come to the gym at least four times a week and do lots of weight training and cardio. Protein shakes before and after a workout are mandatory for him.
Also he trains in the evening, at around 4 PM (same as me) and tries to spend at least one hour in the gym, sometimes even more.
